Adult Psychiatric Services
In our Adult Psychiatric Program, we treat adults with a variety of mental health problems. We work closely with patients and their families to:
  • Provide a safe, structured treatment environment
  • Rapidly restore each patient to their highest possible level of functioning
  • Develop a plan for continuing care in the community
  • Improve each patient’s quality of life

Psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and therapeutic recreation specialists work directly with each patient on a daily basis to provide a safe environment, education and treatment. Each patient’s care is coordinated by a primary counselor. We also have family practice doctors available on a daily basis for medical issues. Consultations for special medical problems are available, as needed.

Patients in this program will participate in treatments such as:

  • Medication evaluation and management
  • Group therapy that may include issues such as anger management, chemical dependency education, women’s issues and eating disorders
  • Family therapy
  • Individual therapy that includes dynamic, cognitive and behavioral modification therapies

Step-down psychiatric partial hospitalization is available for transition to outpatient services.
