Our mission is to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for children and adolescents with psychiatric and behavior disorders. Our multidisciplinary treatment teams work collaboratively with families, outpatient providers and other support systems to develop a comprehensive assessment for each child. Each assessment will identify treatment focus and goals, as well as additional supports needed after the hospital stay. Each child's treatment team will include a psychiatrist, social worker, therapeutic recreation specialist, educational coordinator, nurses and counselors. This team works together with the outpatient treatment team to return each child to a less restrictive setting as quickly as possible, with the skills to be more successful in day-to-day living situations. Our program serves children and adolescents ages 10-18. The program features: Acute and Extended Care programs Comprehensive psychosocial assessment for each patient Medication assessment by our board certified psychiatrists Individual therapy Family therapy Age-specific, specialized therapeutic and recreational group treatment that includes, but is not limited to: Social skills enhancement Life skills training Anger management Conflict resolution Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Adventure-based treatment Educational assessment and/or consultation with school systems Age-specific therapeutic milieu and behavior management Case management and coordination of aftercare services Step-down partial hospitalization level of care for transition to outpatient services
